Whew, it certainly was quite hot out for Justin and Kristi's wedding day in central Maine! The day started off at Kristi's parents' house on the lake where the ladies did their preparations. It turned out to be a great little spot for some quick portraits of Kristi and her bridesmaids as well. Once things wrapped up there, it was off to Hope Baptist Church where they would be married. The kids were adorable walking down the aisle and paving the way for Kristi and her father's entrance. They said their vows, painted a unity canvas, sung together, kissed, and then it was off to the waterfront for some bridal party pictures! We had a great time down by the water with some fun photos and watching the massive stripers jumping out of the river. Just as we were ready to start their portraits alone, it started to rain! This rushed things along a little bit, but it certainly was refreshing after the hot day we had so far, and it made the setting for the awesome, passionate "kissing in the rain" photo you see below! We grabbed a few more shots with the GTO under the cover of a bridge, and then it was off the civic center for an evening of dancing, laughter, rambunctious children, and fun, complete with a sparkler exit to see them off!
