I first met Dave and Libby during their engagement session in Portland last year, and it was one of the coldest and windiest days of the season. Thankfully, their wedding day was the total opposite! It was a gorgeous, warm, and sunny day on the summit at Point Lookout. This day was full of so many great stories, dances, and happy tears…quite a few happy tears actually! It’s hard to pick what I would choose as a personal favorite memory from the day. When I think back, what comes to mind is the laughing, good times, and Libby’s propensity to DANCE. So glad that Dave and Libby chose me to capture their big day, and I hope you enjoy revisiting the memories through the images below. Be sure to check out the full proofing gallery as well, SO many photos!

^^^Check out how good Dave and Libby look all made up! Just kidding, those are moose…
At one point when I went to take some pictures of her dress, I was slightly alarmed to see some of it coming apart! As discreetly as possible, I mentioned it to a bridesmaid, and mom got right on with the repairs! Wedding day crisis averted!
It was time for Dave and Libby to exchange their gifts, which may have triggered some tears…
How adorable are their dog ring bearers!?!?!
First look with dad may have set off a few more tears!
I went back to find this humorous scene as the bridesmaids helped to bustle the dress. Once they were done it was time to kick off the intros! Much in line with Libby’s style, she was dancing her way down the halls - perfect opportunity for a photo op. Finally, it was time for a toast with her girls at the bar!
Just as dinner was being served, I noticed that while sunset wasn’t officially for another hour, the sun was just falling below the treeline. I’m thankful Dave and Libby were willing to pause on getting their dinner, to run out for a few shots as these are my favorite of the day!
a few more photos at dusk followed by…. you guessed it… MORE DANCING!
As it was getting dark, it was time to bust out the sparklers and light sticks! A fun little exit followed by some more partying on the dance floor!
Thank you Dave and Libby!
