Jed + Caitlin | 16 Bay View Wedding | Camden, Maine

After waiting a year later than planned, it was finally time for Jed and Caitlin to have the wedding they were waiting for…and it was AWESOME!
You really couldn’t have asked for a more picturesque day in Camden. Clear skies, comfortable temperatures, a beautiful harbor, a gorgeous rooftop view for the reception, and an after party at 40 Paper. These two were full of excitement for their wedding day, and an absolute joy to work with. Excited to share these photos for everyone to relive the day, whether you were there or not!

Getting Ready and First Look

16 Bay View was an amazing spot in the heart of downtown Camden to be the hub for a wedding day! The ladies were having a grand time getting ready for the day in their suite, with Sofie(their beloved dog) roaming around and enjoying the extra attention. Jed was hanging out with the guys, and going over his vows, which were already making him tear up! Always a good sign…

Ceremony

Right around the corner from the hotel is the iconic Camden Amphitheater, which is a beautiful spot for a wedding. Laureh and I actually did our wedding photos here as well, almost 10 years ago! Caitlin’s Dad (Mark), put a lot of work into a meaningful ceremony, which also involved a glass unity tradition involving their family. Their vows had so much heart, with lots of both laughs and tears.

Before heading over to the reception, we took a group photo of everyone attending, and then enjoyed a little time with just Jed and Caitlin capturing some portraits…

Sarah + Ford | Primo Restaurant | Owl's Head Maine Wedding

The smiles say it all! While there was SO much rain in the forecast surrounding their wedding day, I don’t think we could have been graced with a more perfect window of clear weather in which to celebrate. I joined Ford and Sarah’s wedding weekend the night before their big day at Primo’s. What a perfect spot for spending time with friends and family during a rehearsal dinner (even if some guests were delayed on their arrival by some navigation issues with the trolley). Eventually everyone arrived and enjoyed an evening together in the barn, among the gardens, and even visiting the happiest pigs you’ll ever see!

On the wedding day, I arrived to everyone bustling about and family helping out with putting some of the final pieces into place. Dyson on the other hand(now one of my favorite dogs ever), was content to relax in his spot in the back of the SUV, away from the commotion. I’m so thankful that the rains held out until later in the evening, giving them enough time to celebrate with their friends and family outside amongst the beautiful backdrop of the water in Owls Head. I can’t say enough how wonderful these two and their families were to spend time with, and I’m so excited to share some of the memories captured from their wedding day!

Dyson was quite the life of the party! Once he decided to join in on the action, he had no problem finding new friends! I love how he plopped himself right in the aisle before the ceremony haha!
