The entire Memorial Day Weekend was basically forecasted to be rain…BUT! Of course we had a few hours of clear weather just for Jessie and Justin’s special day. My favorite memory from the day is going to sound cheesy, but it really was how these two looked at each other. From the moment I arrived, there was this excitement in the air, and both of them had the biggest smiles for the few hours we were together. I can still hear Jessie giggling with glee, which would happen no less than every five minutes haha!

And how about this location!? Oh my word! It was such a pleasure to meet the owners and see the amazing work they’ve done to this historic location. I’ve always been enamored by it as I drive by, and so thankful to have now explored it in person! If you are looking to have you wedding in Maine at an inn by the ocean, look no further. The inside is just as beautiful as the outside!

I had so much fun with these two, and I hope you enjoy this short retelling of their wedding day!

-Ceremony-

It wasn’t until a few minutes before that ceremony that you could feel a bit of anxiousness, and Justin had the biggest grin as he waited for and then saw Jessie for the time! Lindsay Gannon of Officially Yours did a wonderful job performing the ceremony, and it was a beautiful sight to watch these two say their vows while trying not to tear up.

After the ceremony, we spent a little time exploring the property and taking some portraits!

Justin has a reputation as a lover of cake. The joke was that was mostly why he showed up haha! It was time to head in for some quick toasts and the cake cutting before heading out for dinner!

Before parting ways for the evening, we swung by the Belfast Foot Bridge for a few more quick portraits!

What a pleasure it was to be back at Point Lookout for the third time this year, and even better was spending it with these two! Sam and Abby have been together for five years and met while they both were attending Colby College. Together, they make a super fun and easy going couple, so of course laughter abounded throughout the day, with plenty of banter and fun times. They were also gracious in putting up my shenanigans, as well as a personally embarrassing moment when I realized that I'd made a mistake with my camera settings and had to retake a small handful of photos. While a little cold and windy, it was still an absolutely gorgeous October day! It's exciting to finally share these images and I hope that they bring you back to the day or help you to experience it for the first time. Thanks for coming!

I always enjoy seeing kids at weddings as they often make for good photo opportunities. This little guy was just resting on a chair before the ceremony and gave me just the slightest smile!
