It was a pretty unpredictable day weather-wise, but thankfully we were both flexible enough to shift times and make this work! It always an easy day to work with a couple that is so effortless to capture. We had a great time wandering around a few spots in both Rockland and Owls Head for Jimmy and Laura’s engagement photos. It makes me look forward(even more) to their wedding in September!

So many things to love about this session! I had such great conversations with Alena on the phone leading up to this and knew that I was going to enjoy our time together. Brian and Alena had so many details already planned out, which was perfect! He had brought his vintage International pickup truck home from up north, which was fantastic for these classic fall engagement photos. Their chemistry is apparent and I love it when a couple can just be themselves. Being the longest engagement session that I’ve done, we had tons of time to get creative too. I’m excited to share these and can’t wait to capture Brian and Alena’s wedding next year up in Bethel!

After we wrapped up our backyard session, it was time to head downtown to The Tarratine Club for sunset and a few creative portraits! Definitely a cool spot.
