During a season of unusual Maine weather, Colby and Hannah couldn't have had a more perfect day! The weeks leading up to their wedding were full of brutal heat, humidity, and constant rain. Thankfully, that was not the case here! I started my day by joining them at this beautiful lakeside property where everyone was getting ready. What a perfect backdrop it made for the first look and a few portraits. This was such a fun loving group to photograph for the day, with plenty of laughter and goofing around! Besides the portraits at the end of the day, one of my favorite moments was the video that played during the reception, and the reactions that went with it. You can see that below! The boys certainly were having some good times with their photos, ranging from romantic titanic themes to counter-terrorism, haha!
Hannah was cool and collected, excited for the day to begin...after a snack!

It was time for the first look! If you can't tell, there was some excitement surrounding it!
After we finished at the lake, we headed down to the church in Ellsworth for the ceremony, where the love and laughter continued through the vows.
During the reception, a video was shared detailing the story of their first kiss. It was so great and impossible to only convey through the photos, so I'm glad to share this video by Jo Lord. Still awesome the second time around!

After the first dances and some games, it was time to open the dance floor!
While not as commonly done, Colby and Hannah wanted some post-reception photos so I joined them after they left the reception. We spent an hour nearby and captured so many beautiful photos, which I'm so glad we did! I can't imagine not having these images to close out the day! :D
