TJ + Molly | Spruce Point Inn Wedding | Boothbay, Maine Photographer

I had the pleasure of meeting TJ and Molly a while back for coffee, and had been looking forward to this wedding for a while! After our chat, there was mild concern as to whether "Officer Ellis" or "TJ" would be the one to show up at the wedding, but it was TJ who was there for sure haha! It turned out to be a rather hot, but beautiful day down in Boothbay Harbor for their wedding. The day was full of smiles, laughs, and love! I'm so happy that they chose me to capture their special day, and I hope you enjoy reliving the day through the photos!

Molly and her mom made all of the runners for the tables! Also love the personalized BBQ sauce wedding favors!

Anyone who knows Molly, knows her affinity for all things "ducky".  It's a reoccurring theme you'll see as the day unfolds. ;)

The doors of the church hardly had time to open before TJ started becoming emotional.  It never gets old to see a groom tear up as his bride walks down the aisle!

Molly has her duckies, but TJ has his Subaru STI. Molly talked about how his Facebook cover photos are always of his car, so we thought maybe we could create some images worthy enough that could include Molly as well! We will see...

While the church was roasting hot, things started to cool down in the afternoon for a very enjoyable cocktail hour out on the lawn and oceanfront deck at Spruce Point Inn!

We fit in a few minutes of groomsmen photos at the end of cocktail hour so they could show off some of their personalized swag! Each groomsmen got a unique set of suspenders to show off!

After toasts, we snuck out for some photos down by the bay on the rocks and pier...and WOW! That was the right call!

It was time to get back and party the night away with The Bob Charest Band! They also had played Molly's Sister's wedding a few years back and it was one of TJ's requests for the wedding that "that same band" played theirs as well! I loved working with this talented crew again, who definitely had the dance floor moving all night!

Ryan + Abby | Wooster Farm | North Haven Wedding Photographer

What was forecasted to be an unusually  muggy and sticky Maine summer day turned out to be an overall perfect one for Ryan and Abby's wedding on North Haven Island!  Departing the mainland via water taxi, the morning temperature had already started to rise, but the beauty of living on the coast prevailed.  Further out on the open seas, North Haven island brought a much sought out reprieve for traveling wedding guests. One thing that Ryan and Abby were looking forward to was sharing with others the beauty of the island that they had enjoyed together for some time. It certainly did not disappoint, and it was clear that everyone had a lovely day celebrating with Ryan and Abby! I was so glad to be chosen to capture this special occasion, and I hope you enjoy reliving the day through the stories and photos that follow. Thanks for coming!

After Abby was all ready to go, it was time for their first look at Nebo Lodge! What a beautiful little inn - just a short walk from the ferry terminal on North Haven. The garden patio made for a perfect backdrop!

After the first look at Nebo Lodge, it was off to her family home for some pre-ceremony pictures!

The genuineness of a wedding in Maine is when you have to check your bride for ticks after just a short walk through the grass!

The "Frank Benson" Oceanfront Farmhouse Tennis Estate, also know as "Wooster Farm", was such a perfect spot for a wedding like this. The outdoor ceremony facing the ocean, a barn for cocktail hour, and a large lawn for the tented reception make for a great "all-in-one" sort of location!

The florals for the day by "Pretty Flowers" were absolutely gorgeous!

The flower girls were certainly the stars of the dance floor for the day. I love this shot of the little boots running around!

After dinner, we snuck out for a few minutes to capture some portraits using the gorgeous North Haven coastline!

I enjoyed spending some of the day getting to know the "Jim Ciampi Band",  with whom I shared a boat ride over and back from the island with. What a talented bunch to keep the party going and get the dance floor moving! If you're looking for a band for your Maine wedding, I highly recommend checking them out!

To wrap up our part of a perfect day, it was time for the sparkler sendoff for Abby and Ryan, who then retreated with the guests back to the barn for some late night pizza!
