Chris + Lauren | Camden Maine Engagement Photographer

It's not often that when you get ditched by friends before a concert that it's a good thing. In this case, Chris ended up meeting Lauren through mutual friends when he decided to go alone anyway. Five years have passed since then and they'll be getting married next year! I'm looking forward to next October, when I'll be photographing their wedding at one of my favorite venues, Point Lookout in Northport, Maine!

We started the session up on top of Mount Battie in Camden Hills State Park. The views of Camden harbor and the surrounding coastline are beautiful and make for the perfect backdrop! After that, we worked our way downtown to use the area around the amphitheater and public library.

Ian + Emily | Owls Head Maine Engagement Photographer

Laughter. That's something there was a lot of during Ian and Emily's engagement session a couple weeks ago! Many couples would describe themselves as each other's best friend, but it's certainly obvious here. It made my job effortless and I can't wait to capture their wedding next September at the 1774 Inn in Phippsburg! We spent our time in the Owls Head area near where we both live. It's so great to live on the coast of Maine!

Ian is in the Coast Guard Reserve and we thought we would try to do some pseudo-serious posing in front of the Coast Guard sign at the Owls Head Lighthouse, but to no avail hahaha!

Final capture below using my 58mm Petzval lens, which creates that unique swirly bokeh you see in the background!
