With temperatures reaching above 90 degrees, you could certainly say this was a hot one! It was no doubt an intense day up on the summit weather-wise, with thunderstorms predicted and uncertainty whether the ceremony would be outside, as originally intended, or not. Shortly after I arrived, skies quickly became ominous, but thankfully cleared up when they needed too! Ironically, when I met up with Ted and Jessica for the engagement shoot, it was one of the coldest days of the year haha. While their wedding day may not have been the coolest day or the year, it was a fun one! I’m looking forward to sharing these captured images, and hope you enjoy reliving the day through them!

These were certainly some of the meanest looking skies I had seen in a while, so I made sure to run out just as it started to rain and capture the beautiful flowers on the arbor lest they be marred by the impending downpour. Farmhouse Floral did such beautiful work, and thankfully, they all survived the brief storms before the ceremony!
Ted may have come up a little short on his first tie attempt, haha!
First Look
With everyone ready to go, it was time to head outside for the first look and some wedding party photos pre-ceremony!
After some time in the hot sun, it was time to jump back in the AC and relax for a bit before the festivities began.
Love this shot below of Jessica’s flower girl holding her dress! :)
A quick wave from the guests before things begin!
One of the cutest things I’ve seen in a while was this little girl sitting on the lawn just watching everything as it unfolded. She sat there the whole time and just soaked it all in!
Ted and Jessica shared vows that they had written each other(always a special touch), and with that, they were married! It was time to grab and signature cocktail and mingle with friends and family
At the end of cocktail hour, we did the quickest run ever down to the beach for a few more photos as the guests transitioned to the pavilion. So glad we did this as the B+W photo with the old Cadillac at the top of this post was one of my favorites of the day!
Reception
You knew things were getting serious when Ted took off his shoes for the first dance! They put together a fun mix of dances to make it their own!
With that, it was time for Living Room Circus to get the dance floor moving! Jessica’s brother is the drummer and some of the other guys are siblings with one of my past wedding couples. Playing alternative rock hits from the 90’s-00’s was like listening to my radio as a kid. Good times!
After one of the band’s sets, we snuck out for a few quick post sunset snaps, and them left them to party the night away!
Thank you Ted and Jessica!
