One of the personal highlights of my career to date was the opportunity I had in 2015 to capture the moment when Will proposed to Diane at the Breakwater Lighthouse in Rockland, ME. It was such a thrill, and I was excited when they asked if would be their wedding photographer as well! It's not often that I am asked to photograph outside of Maine, but I am always happy to when the opportunity arises. The day began in Yonkers, where the ladies were getting ready in one location, while the gentleman all "prepared" by hanging out poolside. After everyone was ready, it was off to the church for the ceremony. The backdrop of The Church of Saint Joseph in Bronxville was a beautiful place to be married! Post ceremony, it was off to Crabtree's Kittle House where everyone gathered to celebrate the rest of the evening. The wine cellar turned out to be a great place to take some unique bridal portraits, what a cool place (quite literally)! The evening was finished with a quick portrait under the evening's full moon... or so I thought. Upon returning back inside to check if there was any gear left to pack up, what did I find but a gorilla and human-sized chicken on the dance floor?! So glad I stepped back inside - that's not something you see everyday, haha! Anyway, it was an honor to be there for all of the day's festivities and wish Will and Diane a lifetime of happiness!
