Caitlin's excitement was so sincere and contagious during our conversations leading up to the wedding, that I knew it was going be a a great day. On top of that, this would be my 100th career wedding shoot, so I was excited too! Upon arrival, we were greeted with a very foggy haze at the summit. While this was some of the thickest fog I have ever encountered at a wedding, it didn't even remotely put a damper on the day! Caitlin was ready to move forward with the outdoor ceremony, and Ryan was cool and collected while hanging out with the groomsmen on the other side of the property. Besides having a donut truck at the wedding, one of my favorite parts of the day was the vows, which kept alluding to some serious dance moves. I thought perhaps there was a touch of embellishment going on, but when they hit the dance floor, it quickly became apparent that this was not the case! The day turned out to be just as awesome as I had hoped, and I can't wait for you to relive the day through the photos and stories below. Thanks for coming and enjoy!

Ryan and Caitlin had their first date at Woodman's Bar & Grill, later to be the home of Orono Brewing Company. It may have taken a few dates before she was fully convinced, but obviously, it all worked out! You could say this Bangor based brewery was an official sponser of their wedding. ;)
Sure, I'm a bit Juvenile, but the photo below makes me laugh every time haha!!!
Ryan and Caitlin had (sort of) a private first look out on the lawn of the summit...
Generally speaking, I like to keep bridal party photos simple and sweet, but we had some spare time, and were being quickly forced inside due to thick fog and drizzle. Lauren and I took this opportunity to set up the most staged bridal party portrait I will likely ever take haha. We thought we would have a little fun with a more serious, formally posed, Downton Abbey style shot with dramatic lighting!
On the way to the beach, we stopped on the main road which leads up the mountain to the summit. As the guests drove by, Caitlin would duck behind the car!
Everybody was Kung-Fu fighting....
Caitlin's father kicked off the toasts with a touching recap of his daughter's life and accomplishments. He pulled out a favorite squirell, dance shoes, trophies, and a diploma. All of which he said are now Ryan's responsibility to care for.
While the speeches were many, they were hilarious if you can't tell from the rip-rourious reactions below!
This part has got to be my favorite wedding desert choice OF ALL TIME. Instead of a traditional cake, Ryan and Caitlin had Urban Sugar Donuts come in their donut truck to make FRESH HOT AMAZING DONUTS. I cannot express my regret at not grabbing enough of these myself. So delicious, and also a fun evening photo op!
The formalities were now finishing and it was time to party! A big theme during the vows were the recurring mention of Caitlin's dance skills. While amusing, I was curious how founded they were in reality... needless to say, they lived up to these rumors. These two tore up the dance floor with some of the most epic wedding dancing by a couple I have ever seen. IT. WAS. AWESOME.
Thank you Ryan and Caitlin!
