It was a bright and sunny day for Josh and Johanna's intimate wedding up on Hacker's Hill! They opted to bring just their immediate family to share their ceremony with and spent a few days renting a log cabin together. What a great way for everyone to get to know each other better for such an occasion! The day began by meeting the family there at cabin where everyone was getting dressed up, putting together flowers, and making final preparations for the ceremony. After a quick first look, it was off to Casco, Maine where Hacker's Hill Preserve is located. Please enjoy seeing and reading about how the rest of the day unfolded!

One of the major standouts of the day, perhaps unusually so, was the relationship between myself and Kaia (the bride's niece). Under most circumstances, kids love me(same maturity level I think)... Kaia did NOT. At the very sight of me, her mood would quickly turn sour. No matter how sneaky I tried to be, she just KNEW when I was watching her! I don't want to make it sound serious, but I'm reasonably confident that she hated me with the fire burning passion of a thousand suns! Thankfully, as the day went on, you can see that she at least could handle the sight of my presence.
At this point, it was time to leave the cabin in Harrison and head to the ceremony site in Casco! It has beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and it the perfect place for a small ceremony. I loved the arbor that is present on site!
For the last stop, we took a short drive over to Bridgton, ME to take some final shots at a covered bridge!
Thank you Josh and Johanna!
