I had the pleasure of meeting up with Steve and Danielle when they first booked and they described wanting a fun and laid back wedding, always my favorite thing to hear! In the end, I would say it was a perfect way to finish up the 2017 wedding season! Before heading over to Morgan Hill for the ceremony and festivities, the day began in Bangor where everyone was getting ready. It (of course) ended up being the coldest day of the week, but Danielle was set on doing the first look and some portraits at the public library in downtown Bangor. The day had so many great moments, but one of my favorites was the Father/Daughter dance during the reception. You can read more about that and some other great stories from the wedding day below. I hope you enjoy reliving Dani and Steve's wedding through the photos below, and thanks for coming!

The first story I would like to share is of Danielle opening her wedding gift from Steven. This gift was composed of a trifecta of items special to Danielle. For her first birthday, Danielle received diamonds and a note from her daddy... fast forward to her wedding day, and this note & box were used in delivering her wedding gift from Steve! And just what was contained within this box? Earrings which Steve designed, with the center diamonds having originally been from Danielle's grandmother's wedding ring. Certainly among the most thoughtful wedding gifts I have ever seen. She sure seemed happy with it!
After Danielle was finished putting on her dress, everyone except for her Maid of Honor was ushered out of the room for a suprise. Leading up to the wedding, Danielle decided she wasn't going to be wearing a veil (to the dismay of her mom). What everyone didn't know what that Samantha (her MOH) had offered her veil for Danielle to wear as her "something borrowed". It was a beautiful moment between the two of them with tears and hugs. Those emotions intensified as the rest were invited back into the room. Just look at her mother's reaction!
After her dad's first look and a champagne toast, it was off the the library for the first look with Steve!
The excitement and joy here is awesome haha!
Morgan Hill Even Center was as beautifully decorated as I have seen it, with uplighting on the curtains and a festive display of table garnishes.
Danielle may or may not have let out an expletive while trying to not get emotional during the vows, haha. Even if you didn't catch it, you heard the laughter from those who had!
Greg was very late to the party, so he was banished and made a table setting for one in the corner of the room. Bad Greg.
For the reception, our bride opted for a new dress which her friends helped her into!
In one of the most standout emotional moments of the day, it was time for Danielle to dance with her dad. In May 2015, her father suffered a stroke leaving him confined to a wheelchair for some time. After the engagement, he was determined to walk his daughter down the aisle and to dance with her. He persevered through rehab and he succeeded. The dance was met with tears and a standing ovation in what will be among the most memorable Father/Daughter dances that I will have the pleasure to capture. Bravo!
Only thing left was to dance the night away and finish up with a final portrait under the stars!
I find this picture below both creepy and hilarious haha
