While the forecast had originally looked a little glum, Tom and Hannah were instead graced with some perfect weather and great cloud cover! Our day began on the shores of the Eastern Promenade in downtown Portland, Maine for their first look. Thomas was visibly anxious and little nervous to see his bride for the first time! Hannah arrived shortly afterwards and his reaction to seeing her for the first time was priceless - as you will see below! It was great to spend the day with these two and I hope you will scroll through and enjoy the memories and stories captured below. Thanks for coming!

After the first look, it was time to head over to another part of the eastern prom for the outdoor ceremony. In addition to the cooling umbrella of clouds overhead, everyone had a beautiful view of the Portland waterfront! Thomas and Hannah wrote their own vows, which are always a special touch to listen to.
With the ceremony and family formals behind them, it was time to celebrate at the Saltwater Grille in South Portland where they arrived via water taxi. The guests were eargerly awaiting their arrival and cheered as the boat pulled up.
I love it when couples chose to have a band play at their wedding as it always adds an extra fun and unique touch! Renee St. Jean and the Yellow Sunwreckers put on a great show throughout dinner and dancing.
Tom and Hannah chose their siblings to stand beside them as their bridal party, which means when it comes time for toasts, you never know what could happen! While most siblings may take this opportunity to roast and tell embarrassing stories, all they really could do was gush about how proud they were and how much they love them both. Tom's brother especially went on at the seemingly never ending list things his brother was good at. He was also compared to Johnny Weissmuller, being a competitive swimmer himself. While many may not have known who that was, I spent some of my childhood watching the old black and white Tarzan movies myself with my dad.
Towards the end of the reception's festivities, Hannah's dad put on a great singing performance with the band. While I don't really do video work, I felt like I had to take a short clip to share!
Thank you Tom and Hannah!
