What a beautiful day it ended up being for Ray and Ashley's wedding at Newagen! The ladies had one of the scenic oceanfront cottages to get ready at, while the gentleman prepared for the day over at the Inn. After everyone was dressed and ready, it was time to head over to Our Lady of Queen Peace in Boothbay Harbor for the ceremony. The church itself is a classic timber-framed building and with the doors open wide, an amazing ocean breeze swept through to keep everyone comfortable during the vows. After the ceremony, it was back to Newagen for a few more pictures, followed by an evening of fun, dancing, and celebration, with entertainment provided by the band Rip Cord. These guys were among the best wedding bands I have heard and would highly recommend checking them out! I'm proud to be one of the Newagen's preferred photographers and I love the inn's grounds, which can provide great backdrops for capturing memorable photos. The first shot below was taken down on the rocks by the ocean at dusk, and I am so glad we snuck out for a bit, because this was one of my favorites from the day! It was such a pleasure to be there to photograph Ray and Ashley's day from start to finish. I hope that you enjoy the following highlights of the memories documented from this wonderful occasion.
