Anthony + Kristen | Cape Elizabeth Wedding Photographers | Purpoodock Club

Anthony and Kristen couldn’t have asked for a more perfect fall day! One of the neat aspects of their day was how early it was. Instead of dinner, they opted to host a brunch wedding, which means…AWESOME FOOD! Not to mention a bacon bar, and yes, you read that right…BACON BAR! Our day began in the morning at the Westin in downtown Portland where they were getting ready. From there, we made our way to Fort Williams for the first look, where we were gifted the most perfect lighting! Given the logistics of the morning, it certainly couldn’t have come together much better. We had such a great time capturing these two, and I hope you enjoy reliving the day!

Found some crystal balls in the suite where Kristen was getting ready, so I tried to get creative with it!

First Look

It was time to head over to Fort Williams park in Cape Elizabeth for the first look! As stated before, we couldn’t have had more beautiful morning light for the time we were there. Even with the hundreds of tourists around, we found ways to get a couple snaps with Portland Head Light!

Ceremony & Reception - Purpoodock Club

After the first look and some photos around the park, it was time to jump in the limo and head off to the final destination!

While it may look like Anthony was mounting an unprovoked attack on Kristen, he was in fact protecting her from the bees that kept swarming. Kristen then thanked him for that in the vows haha!

It was time for toasts, and of course to eat toast(brunch)!

Everyone had apple crisp at their tables for dessert as well as the “cake” they cut. Kristen approved!

During the dancing, we snuck outside for a few more portraits! Plenty of laughs with these two.

Chris + Patricia | Intimate Maine Wedding | Deer Isle

When Patricia first reached out and sent an inquiry to me, I replied that it was unlikely I would be able to capture their day due to some surrounding bookings. We set up a time to chat anyway and it wasn’t hard for them to talk me into adding their quaint wedding into an already busy season - and I’m so glad they did! If you haven’t been out to Deer Isle before, it is a great area that can be accessed via a bridge. It is OUT THERE too and feels like quite the drive after you turn off Route 1 haha. While the day wasn’t as clear as one may have hoped, the rains thankfully held off for most of the day! It wasn’t until I was driving home that evening that it started to rain more heavily. Chris and Patricia had this lovely little wedding planned with a select group of friends and family. I love to capture more intimate wedding events like this and hope that you enjoy reliving the day through these photos!

It’s not often that I’m sent off to do photos of the bridesmaids themselves, but just look at this two! Isla and Maisy were the sweetest!

They were tasked with bringing their dad a gift, and spent some time in the cabin with him as he got ready.

After a few quick snaps on the back porch, it was time to head down to the water where they would be getting married! It was a bit cold and windy, but they were gifted with just a touch of sunshine as the ceremony ended!

We took some (very) quick family photos down by the shore, before Patrica and Chris spent some time alone to capture some shots down on the docks.

Since it was cloudy and cool down by the water, we retreated up to the yard, set up a light and finished up some portraits. I love these!

The rest of the evening was a very relaxed, family dinner sort of occasion. They shared a first dance and spent the evening enjoying everyone’s company. Dinner was catered by “Milk & Honey”, who did an amazing job and had the most incredible staff! One of the best meals I’ve had all year.
