Laureh and I had the pleasure of spending a day with Chris and Emily a few weeks ago for their destination Bar Harbor wedding, and what a gorgeous day it was! We started the day at the Bar Harbor Inn where both Chris and Emily were getting ready. After a first look at the inn, we ventured into beautiful Acadia National Park for some pre-ceremony photos. It was certainly busy out there, but we found some great spots for photos before heading back for the ceremony. Just checking to make sure Chris brushed his teeth! (I have have no idea what was going on here, but it was funny)

For being on a Friday early in the vacation season, the park was quite busy and we had to get a little adventurous to find spots without other people around!

The ocean view from the backyard ceremony site at the Bar Harbor Inn is amazing!

Before the ceremony, Chris and Emily's wedding bands we there for family and friends as they walked in. This "Ring Warming" is for people to offer prayers/blessings/well wishes for their marriage!

The rest of the night was celebrated away in the Porcupine Room and outside deck . It also cooled off for a refreshing evening and coloful sunset. Perfect for some end of the day portraits!

What a pleasure it was to kick of the season with these two! Adam and Kevin ended up with the perfect weather for their April wedding in downtown Portland, ME. We started the day out at Hyatt Place place where they were getting ready and hanging out with their family and wedding party. From there on the day was full of plenty of lighthearted laughter and fun, which was of no suprise as Adam and Kevin would describe themselves as young at heart. I hope you enjoy reliving the day and much as we enjoyed capturing it! And remember, don't go it alone, take this! ;)

After a wonderful slideshow documenting their lives up to this point, we snuck out for a few final portraits out in the dark. Not only is it a great backdrop during the daytime, but Portland City Hall is excellent at night too!
