Cody + Nichole | The Farm At Worthley Pond Wedding | Peru, Maine Photographer

After already getting to know them previously during their engagement session last year, I knew Cody and Nichole would be so easy to photograph! As I would have mentioned in the past, they have this magnetic connection to each other other, which just shines through when they're together. This was my first time at Worthley Pond, and what a wonderful spot! Even with some spotty drizzle, it was such a beautiful location to host a party like this. To make it even more special, almost everything was put together with the help of family and friends! My favorite part of their wedding day really was the simplicity and relaxed atmosphere. From the layout of the schedule, to the awesome choice in music, which bucked a lot of traditional "must do" kind of stuff. I hope you enjoy reliving the day through the photos below and thanks for coming!

Again, they opted for some awesome choices in music as a friend performed an acoustic version of "Everlong" by the Foo Fighters for their first dance. Yes, of course that's what I'm listening to as I work on this blog post!!!

The kids at this wedding were certainly the stars of the dance floor with some crazy good dancing and acrobatics thrown in!

Patrick + Tracy | Samoset Resort Wedding | Rockport, Maine Photographer

Wow... What a perfect day it ended up being for Patrick and Tracy's wedding!  I had the pleasure of meeting these two and some of their family during their engagement session earlier this spring and have been looking forward to capturing their wedding ever since. Thankfully, with friends and family having traveled such a long distance to be here, they were blessed with a gorgeous Maine fall day! I showed up at the Samoset early in the afternoon to capture some getting ready photos, as well as many pre-ceremony formals.  This helped free up additional time to be spent with their guests later - always a great idea! Once they were ready, we headed out for the first look, followed by some pictures out on the Rockland Breakwater. I still can't get over how awesome these two look with the amazing backdrop nature provided! I'm so thankful Patrick and Tracy chose me to capture their big day and hope you love going through these photos as much as I loved taking them!

We had some pretty hilarious paparazzi during the ceremony, who apparently REALLY wanted to capture a few shots themselves. He was clamoring up, and almost falling back down the hill to get his photo!

I really loved watching this moment below of Tracy's father looking over at his son-in-law and new grandchild. That look just says it all! I remember during their engagement shoot, talking about how her sister was due right around the time of the wedding and how they might not be able to make it. Thankfully this bundle of joy came just early enough for them to be there to support Patrick and Tracy!

Pretty much the best ring bearer outfit ever haha! He did an excellent job playing the part as well.

Dancing was a BIG part of this reception in the ballroom! So many great photos from that evening as people tore up the floor.

I finished my evening there with a couple of shots under the stars as well as a sparkler exit. What a great end to a perfect day!
